This footage was recorded in Studio 2, this was made possible due to the planning and documentation that was created and provided to the people in charge. Call sheets, storyboards and treatments were made days before the footage was recorded so there would be sufficient time to get the equipment ready.
The equipment was carefully chosen, tripods and microphones were needed for the 3 Cannon 650D's that were used in shooting.
The equipment was planned days before the recording took place and the position of these were chosen and were on the shot plans.
The lights used were chosen before the filming however they were constantly being moved around to compliment the presenters.
A script was produced, this included all the camera shots and the words the presenters would say, without a script the presenters would have to improvise and this may have been a problem as they might not have known what to say.
To ensure no injuries would occur, safety precautions were put into place, these included taping down wires, making sure all entrances and exits were clear, not overloading sockets and spacing out the camera equipment and lights.
After all the footage was collected, it was sorted out into usable and unusable footage, this was then edited on editing software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premier. The sound team then provided music to the editors who placed it on top of the footage. The editors were then given title sequences and credits, these were similarly put onto the footage.
The combination of all the different teams in the production of this episode allowed it to be of a professional and creative standard and therefore fit for purpose. The camera angles, lighting, sound and mise en scene were used to suitable effect to enhance the meaning, for example the posters in the background were relevant as they denoted the show as a games show. The sound was up beat and connoted enthusiasm and excitement, the lights were directed at the presenters and allowed them to be shown in a professional serious aspect, but also in a relaxed and calm mood.
